How to clean and maintain my shades?
Step 1: Remove Dust
Use a duster, microfiber cloth, or your vacuum cleaner brush attachment on low suction to dust the front and back of your shades.
Step 2: Clean Stains
After dusting, most stains can be removed with a sponge, or a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water, and a mild dish detergent by blotting the stain gently. Do not rub the stain. Dry the spot with another clean cloth.
To clean blackouts, use a wrung cloth or sponge dipped in dishwashing solution and lukewarm water. Wipe each section of the blackout until it is all cleaned up! Leave the shade fully extended to dry.
Woven Wood Shades
Woven wood shades need some extra care, you cannot use water. Instead, you will need furniture polish. Spray a dusting cloth with the furniture polish. Do not spray directly on the wood. Carefully, wipe both sides of the shade.

How to clean and maintain my blinds?
Step 1: Remove Dust
Dust each slat individually. For horizontal blinds, start from the top and swipe down both sides at once. You can also use your vacuum’s soft brush attachment if you prefer.
Step 2: Clean
Blinds can be washed by spraying them with water or using a damp rag. You could also use a sponge, or a microfiber cloth, lukewarm water, and a mild dish detergent.
To clean Wood Blinds you will need furniture polish instead of water. Spray a soft duster or a dusting cloth with the furniture polish. Do not spray directly on the wood. Carefully, wipe both sides of each slat.

How to clean and maintain my drapes?
Step 1: Remove Dust
Using your vacuum’s soft brush attachment, start from the top and work downwards, using short strokes and the lowest level of suction.
You can also use a clean, dry microfiber cloth or duster to simply wipe the drapes.
Step 2: Wash
Identify the material by reading the care label, and see if you can wash them.
For hand washing, use a big sink or the bathtub.
For machine washing, use cool water and the delicate cycle.
Step 3: Dry Carefully
Hang them up indoors instead of putting them in the dryer. If they have some wrinkles, touch them up with a warm iron.
